Ian Rosenthal, MD, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Ian M. Rosenthal, MD, PhD, is an experienced Board-Certified Dermatopathologist and has been providing dermatopathology services since 2015.

Dr. Rosenthal completed his Fellowship in Dermatopathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College. Prior to Fellowship he completed his Residency in Anatomic Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Rosenthal also received his Doctor of Philosophy at The Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, where he was responsible for developing the first new clinically approved drug combination for tuberculosis in over 50 years. He also completed postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with a focus on the experimental chemotherapy of tuberculosis. Additionally, Dr. Rosenthal has authored over 40 dermatopathology publications and abstracts throughout his career and is also passionate about teaching and mentorship. He has led numerous teaching and tutorial sessions with Cornell Dermatology Residents and Johns Hopkins University medical students.

When he is not working, Dr. Rosenthal can be found spending time with his wife and two boys, playing classical guitar, and cooking new recipes from around the world. Dr. Rosenthal is thrilled to continue to provide patient centered dermatopathology for all Optima Dermatology patients.

Todd Troxell, DO, FAOCD

Dr. Todd Troxell
Bio

Dr. Todd Troxell, board-certified dermatologist, has been serving patients since 2018. Dr. Troxell offers medical and surgical dermatology treatments for patients age one year old and older, for a wide range of skin conditions.

Dr. Troxell is on the Board of Directors of Kirksville Osteopathic Alumni Association. He has peer reviewed dermatology articles and abstracts. Dr. Troxell was awarded the Platinum TOUCH Community Service award in 2017; he is passionate about giving back to his community through different service efforts. As a medical student, he founded Still Caring Health Connection Clinic, a free medical clinic for the underserved run by fellow medical students. Additionally, Dr. Troxell was awarded the prestigious of Student Doctor of the Year in 2017.

Dr. Troxell completed his internship training at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, MI, and he completed his dermatology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. Dr. Troxell completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. He also completed his fellowship with A.T. Still University in Medical Education.

Dr. Troxell takes pleasure in traveling the globe and being outdoors. Over the last decade, he has embarked on International Medical Outreach trips to Honduras, Vietnam, Nicaragua, and Haiti. Dr. Troxell is a doctor of many talents, as he has his 1st Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, and PADI Search and Rescue certification in Scuba Diving.

Gregory Delost, DO, FAAD

Bio

Dr. Gregory Delost, board-certified dermatologist, has been serving patients in the Cleveland region since 2019. Dr. Delost offers medical and surgical dermatology treatments for patients of all ages from newborns to adults, for a wide range of skin conditions. He also provides medical aesthetic treatments including neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

In 2022, Dr. Delost was recognized as a Best Doctor by Cleveland Magazine. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed dermatology articles and is an industry consultant for a pharmaceutical company developing psoriasis treatments. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Delost is a clinical professor at his former medical school.

Dr. Delost completed his internship/residency training in dermatology at University Hospitals/Case Western University, where he was recognized nationally as the Outstanding Dermatology Resident of the Year. Dr. Delost earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015.

Dr. Delost is passionate about giving back to the community through his medical services and through nonprofit organizations, such as Run for Caitlin which he co-founded in 2014. During his free time, he enjoys supporting the Cleveland pro sports teams and participating in events with his therapy dogs. Dr. Delost looks forward to continuing to provide industry-leading dermatology care to patients in the greater Cleveland area.

Andrew J. Scripture, MD

Bio

Dr. Andrew J. Scripture, board-certified dermatologist, practices medical and surgical dermatology and offers a variety of rejuvenating cosmetic procedures including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and laser treatments. Dr. Scripture completed his residency training in Dermatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, where he was named Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Scripture was a lecturer at Geisel School of Medicine, where he educated medical students on a wide range of dermatology conditions including acne and rosacea as well as cosmetic dermatology. He was named Chief of Cosmetic Education at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and was recognized as an exceptional role model and teacher. Prior to his residency, Dr. Scripture began clinical training with an internship in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He earned his MD degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University. In addition to medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Scripture will also be involved in research and clinical trials as a Principal Investigator. He has experience as an Academic Research Assistant with Indiana University Neuroscience Department, a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and an Intern in Pathology at Eli Lilly and Company. Dr. Scripture looks forward to providing industry-leading dermatology care to patients in the Indianapolis region.
