Chronic Itch – Unknown Origin

Optima Research is conducting a trial on chronic itch with no known origin. Patients must meet the following criteria:

Participants need to attend 6 visits over a 24 week period at our Boardman office and will receive compensation for time and travel.

Chronic Itch/Pruritus of Unknown Origin

Optima Research is looking for volunteers to participate in a study for chronic itch of unknown origin.

Qualified participants must:

• Have experienced chronic itch for at least 4 months
• Itch cannot be related to another skin condition (eczema, psoriasis, etc.)
• Be at least 18 years or older

Patients will be asked to attend 13 visits at our Boardman, OH location over a 52-week period of time. Compensation is provided for qualified participants.

Eczema – Moderate to Severe

Optima Research is looking for volunteers to participate in a study for moderate to severe eczema. Qualified participants must:

• Have eczema for at least 1 year
• Be age 18 or older
• Have tried an eczema treatment in the past year that did not work for you
• Have at least 10% body surface coverage

Patients who qualify will be asked to attend 8 visits at our Boardman, OH location over a period of 16 weeks. Compensation is provided for qualified participants.

Male Pattern Hair Loss – Mild to Moderate

Optima Research is looking for volunteers to participate in a study for male pattern hair loss. Qualified participants must:

• Must be a male between the ages of 18-55
•  Have mild to moderate hair loss (thinning or hair loss on the front of the hairline and/or on the crown)
• Not currently taking any prescribed hair growth medications

Patients will be asked to attend 12 visits at our Boardman, OH location over a 53-week period of time. Qualified participants will be compensated for time and travel.
