Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Bernat founded Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center in 2001. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine where he performed in the U.S. 93rd - 97th percentile Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) steps 1, 2 and 3. He completed his residencies at the University of Florida, was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, and was awarded the NIH Summer Intramural Research Training Award Fellowship in 1994. Dr. Bernat currently holds membership in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of MOHS Surgery.
