She graduated from Youngstown State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has practiced as a Registered Nurse in multiple specialties. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing along with a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from United States University in 2020. Vanessa is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
