Amy Polster, MD

Dr. Amy Polster, board-certified dermatologist, has been serving patients since 2003. Prior to joining Optima Dermatology, she delivered empathetic, quality care at a private practice in Hudson, Ohio for 6 years and the Cleveland Clinic Chagrin Falls Family Health Center for nearly 12 years, where she was also the Associate Medical Director from 2012 to 2014.

Dr. Polster completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Her dermatology residency, where she served as Chief Resident, was at University Hospitals of Cleveland, MetroHealth Medical Center, and the Wade Park Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. Dr. Polster received her Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. She received the Stuart Blaine Fisher, M.D. Prize in Dermatology, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Polster is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Medical Association, Ohio Dermatological Association, and the Cleveland Dermatological Society, where she served on the Board of Directors from 2014 to 2022.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Polster can be found spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling. Dr. Polster treats patients 5 years of age and older and offers dermatology and medical aesthetics services, including Botox®, Dysport®, and Restylane® fillers. Dr. Polster looks forward to providing industry-leading dermatology care to patients in Macedonia, OH and surrounding areas.
