About Optima Research
Optima Dermatology is leading groundbreaking research and advancements in the dermatological field. For patients struggling with difficult, complex, and many times chronic conditions, our clinical trials centers give patients the opportunity to participate in cutting edge research that can help them overcome and improve their conditions.
Optima Research is comprised of two clinical trials practices with more in development: Indiana Clinical Trials Center (ICTC) and Optima Research in Boardman, Ohio.

Clinical Research Locations
Optima Research - Boardman, OH
Optima Research in Boardman, Ohio opened in Spring 2022 and has commenced enrollment for new and upcoming studies. Optima Research is operating in partnership with Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center, a local practice that has provided expert dermatology care for patients in the greater Youngstown region for over 20 years.
Indiana Clinical Trials Center
The Indiana Clinical Trails Center, located in the greater Indianapolis region, is a comprehensive and highly experienced clinical research site focusing primarily on Phase I – IV dermatologic clinical trials. Opened in 2006, ICTC leverages 16 years of clinical research experience, and has held more than 200 trials and enrolled over 5,000 patients since its inception.
