Joan Sisto, MD, FAAD

Dr. Joan S. Sisto, board-certified dermatologist, has been providing patients with comprehensive dermatological care in the seacoast region since 1999. Dr. Sisto offers medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology treatments for patients of all ages for a wide range of skin conditions.

Dr. Sisto completed her residency in dermatology at Montefiore Hospital of AECOM and was named Chief Resident during her final year. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Preceding her time in medical school, Dr. Sisto attended a post-graduate premedical program at Columbia University in New York City and earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah.

Dr. Sisto is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is passionate about serving the community and has participated in numerous free skin cancer screening events on the Seacoast and in Southern Maine and volunteers her time frequently at a local soup kitchen. She has also completed multiple medical missions in Honduras.

When she is not treating patients, you can find Dr. Sisto skiing, cycling, hiking in the White Mountains and enjoying her husband Dan's exceptional Italian cooking.

Dr. Sisto is committed to delivering the highest quality of care to all her patients and looks forward to continuing to do so in the seacoast of New Hampshire and southern Maine.
