Dr. Ryan Karmouta is a board-certified dermatologist that has been serving patients in New England since 2022. Prior to Optima, he practiced in California and in Boston. Dr. Ryan offers medical and surgical dermatology treatments for patients of all ages for a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. He also is an expert in medical aesthetic treatments including neurotoxins, such as Botox® and Dysport®, and dermal fillers.
Dr. Ryan completed his transitional year at Harvard-affiliated Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston followed by residency training in Dermatology at UCLA Health in Los Angeles. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, and Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Dr. Ryan graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ryan enjoys being outside and spending time with those closest to him. You can often find him with his dog Ella hiking, camping, surfing, and traveling! Dr. Ryan looks forward to providing patients in the southern New Hampshire area and beyond with personalized and comprehensive dermatological care.
