Teresa Shaffer, MSN, NP-C, has been a part of the Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center team for over ten years. Beginning as a medical assistant in 2011, Teresa’s passion for assisting in surgical and general dermatology procedures alongside Dr. Bernat inspired her continued education. She earned a degree as a Registered Nurse from Mercy College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and Master of Science in Nursing and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification through the University of Cincinnati. She enjoys her surgical time in the office, removing lesions and helping her patients feel comfortable throughout the process. She is especially talented in sculpting natural-looking lips and cheeks with fillers, and helping her patients age gracefully with Botox. She was nominated in 2017 as one of Realself.com's most loved injectors! She is a Certified CoolSculpt specialist as well.
